Ultrasound equipment with two independent channels and three frequencies: 1, 2 and 3 MHz, in both continuous and pulsating mode.
Important note: a specific handpiece is needed in order to use the 2 MHz frequencies.
Our ultrasound equipment has luminous non contact indicator heads that mean you can check the correctness of the transmitting head-tissue contact. They are also self calibrating so they don't have to be adjusted. The SONIC EXCELLENT device can provide ultrasound in continuous or pulsed mode and the duty cycle can be adjusted in different ways. This significantly reduces the diathermic effect as the heat is dispersed in the interval between one pulse and another. In addition pulsed transmission gives the technical advantage of less potential transducer overheating so higher intensities can be used.
Scientific experience has confirmed that the absorption of ultrasound significantly increases the extendibility of connective tissue. This is very important in the treatment of scarred tissue, surfaces, joint capsule surfaces and tendinitis
THERAPEUTIC EFFECTS
The therapeutic effects of ultrasounds are partly due to the increase in temperature. These take the form of analgesia, relaxation of the muscles, and a fibrolytic and trophic effect.
